VTR: How does faith settle in the hearth?

ADNAN OKTAR: God does not create faith to be arduous; it is people who make it so. "Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you," says God in a verse of the Qur'an - I seek refuge in God from satan-. In other verses He also says, "We will ease you to the Easy Way," and "He has...not placed any constraint upon you in the religionthe religion of your forefather Abraham." Having faith is not hard; it is people who make it hard for themselves. This is what God also refers to in His verse "God does not wrong people in any way; rather it is people who wrong themselves." People wrong themselves; although it is really easy to have faith, to perceive and realize God, they think of it as a tedious, complicated notion. However, faith is waiting just around the corner for the honest and sincere people who do not overthink it. Faith is right in front of people's eyes; it is easy to reach and grab it. But people do not give God the benefit of the doubt. One might be doubtful of others, but why suspect God and not give Him the benefit of the doubt? They distrust everyone, which includes God as well. They say, "I trust no one." What about God? "I do not trust Him either," they reply. This is wrong. A believer must have absolute and infinite trust in God. There can be not a single moment of distrust towards God. One might feel distrust towards others, but not trusting God is wrong and cruel.
