Hazrat Mahdi (as) is not a tyrant; he is a spiritual leader inviting people to love and goodness

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated October 13th, 2016

ADNAN OKTAR: Hazrat Mahdi (as) is not an oppressive person. He is a spiritual leader with the sole aim of eliminating chaos and lovelessness plaguing the world. He is a person that says, "Why do you hate each other? Let us all love and be on good terms with each other. There is no need for conflict, stop the wars. Let us help the poor and the destitute.  These people are in a pitiful situation." And people heed his advice. He is a person whose advice will be followed by the whole world. Those who go to church will continue to do so. Hazrat Mahdi (as) will have all churches repaired and restored. This is written in the Quran. If there are synagogues, he will have them repaired and restored, as well. He will let people live their beliefs to their hearts' content. But those who know Hazrat Muhammad (saas) cannot say, "He is a liar," - the Prophet (saas) is surely above such thoughts. If a person does not accuse Hazrat Muhammad (saas) of being a liar, that person is a believer. For example, we ask people about Hazrat Muhammad (saas), "is he a liar or an honest person?" If that person's response is "no, he is not a liar," than that is it; that person is a Muslim. If he does not accuse the Prophet (saas) of being a liar, that means he is telling the truth. Besides, accusing such an honest, pure, pleasant person of being a liar is truly horrible. I know neither a Christian nor a Jew who can utter such an accusation. No Christian or Jew with a sincere belief would call the Messenger of God (saas) a liar. My Mason friends visit us here. And there are Christians, Catholics, Protestants and many others among them. I ask them about our Prophet (saas), they read and study him and say, "He does not lie; he is not a person who lies." What does that mean? It means that they say they are Muslims. I question the sanity of a person who can call our Prophet (saas) a liar - surely, he is above such thoughts. No one can make such an assertion. His entire life is based on honesty, amiability and pleasantness. And he is a person who suffered a lot in this sense. Throughout his life, he had not contradicted himself even once. For example, his wife Hazrat Khadija (ra) said to him, "You are telling the truth." When our Prophet (saas) saw that angel for the first time, he could not believe it. He doubted himself saying, "Is there something wrong with me? Can I trust in the reality of the things I see, the things I hear? Can I trust this?" He asked Hazrat Khadija (ra), "Do you trust me? What do you think of this situation?" And Hazrat Khadija (ra) responded, “Let me tell you that you are the prophet of God. What you see is real. You are an honest person. You would never lie," she said to our Prophet (saas). Then, the Messenger of God told about it to Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra) and he said, "You are a truthful person; you are the Messenger of God and what you saw was Jibril al-Amin (Gabriel)."  Why would he go to great pains to lie about this? He was already leading a normal life. Why would he go all the trouble to lie about it? Why would he do that? Everything he had ever told in the Quran came true.
