Hans Kochler: Why did I write my book, “Global Justice or Global Revenge?”
First question; how did you decide to write the book Global Justice or Global Revenge? What do you think the world will be like when political interest takes precedence over justice?
Hans Köchler : I was observer of the United Nations at the Lockerbie trial in the Netherlands which was the biggest terrorism trial in the history of the United Kingdom and when I saw how much political influence did change, did have an impact on the decision of the judges I was so frustrated that I wanted to study myself the mechanisms of international criminal justice and I wanted to be able to make my proposals how one should do things better. That’s why I wrote that book Global Justice and Global Revenge.
